~ Claire Swift auditioned and accepted a role in Billy Elliott in Toronto 2011. 

~ Samantha Irwin was accepted on the Canadian Dance Team and competed Germany in 2010.

~ Douglas Price played Action in West Side Story in St. John's in 2010.

~ Douglas Price performed in Soulpepper Theatre's "Oh What A Lovely War" in 2010. 

~ Jasmine McDonald attended the National Ballet Summer School Program 2010 and is presently attend the National Ballet's Full Year Program.

~ Douglas Price wrote Storybook Garden's 2010 in-park show "The Storybook Beat"
~ Brooke Rombough an Argo Cheerleader for the 2010-2011 season. 

~ Jenna Denomy, Samantha Irwin, Charlotte Little, Lindsay Pallo, Alix Rahman, Jasmine Simler-Fuoco, Kiana Simler-Fuoco and Rebecca Weatherhead were accepted on the Canadian Dance Team.  Jenna Denomy, Samantha Irwin, Charlotte Little, Lindsay Pallo, Alix Rahman competed in Germany in 2009.

~ Julia Swift attended the National Ballet Summer School Program 2009 

~ Lesley Bramhill receives a contract with Holland America's Eurodam Cruise Line in 2009.

~ Douglas Price wrote and produced original music song-cycle "Colours & Textures in 2009.

~ Kiana Simler-Fuoco won the title of "Petite Miss Dance of Canada 2008" for Canadian Dance Master of America. 

~ Kiana Simler-Fuoco won the title of "Young Dancer of the Year" for American Dance Awards in 2008.  

~ Kaitlyn Lakerdas won the title of "Teen Dancer of the Year" for American Dance Awards in 2008.

~ Kaitlyn Bayuk won a scholarship and attended Dance Fuzion 2008.

~ Douglas Price receives a contract with Carnical Cruise Lines out of San Diego in 2008. 

~ Lesley Bramhill receives a contract with Holland America's Zuiderdam Cruise Line in 2008.

~ Lesley Bramhill won the title of "Dancer of the Year" for American Dance Awards in 2007.

~ Alex Cote accepted to The School of Toronto Dance Theatre 2007.

~ Lesley Bramhill receives a contract with Celebrity Galaxy Cruise Line in 2007.

~ Douglas Price was named by "Youth in Motion" as a "Top 20 under 20" award winner 2006. 

~ Kaitlyn Bayuk attended the Winnipeg School of Ballet Summer Program in 2006. 

~ Douglas Price was the recipient of the Fen Watkin Music Scholarship in Charlottetown in 2006.

~ Angela Dodson attended Quinte Ballet School in 2006.

~ Lesley Bramhill won the title of "Miss Dance of Canada 2006" for Canadian Dance Masters of America. 

~ Emily Poirier accepted to The School of Toronto Dance Theatre 2005

~ Douglas Price won a Brickenden Award for "SOCKS" in London for Best Youth Show in 2004.

~ Douglas Price (at the age of 17) wrote the book, music and lyrics for "SOCKS" for his highschool production in 2004

Dance Extreme Teaching Positions ~

 

Dance Extreme is always seeking substitute and teachers in all levels of ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, acro and contemporary.

Technically qualified candidates with the appropriate teaching experience should also be motivated, offer an inspiring classroom, serve as exceptional role models, mentors and advisors for a diverse student body.

In a cover letter, please provide the subjects or styles, age ranges and levels you would be qualified to teach.  Compensation is based on experience.

Dance Extreme

              We offer exciting programs for ages 2 1/2 to adults.

At Dance Extreme, we offer a warm, friendly, nurturing environment for all our dancers and their families. Many of our students intend to pursue a professional career, but just as many simply wish to gain grace, poise,and coordination. In either case, we teach our students to "love dance" while encouraging them to reach the highest standards in style and technique.
